We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our pricing data but cannot guarantee that all information is correct, complete, or current. Prices are aggregated estimates and may differ from what individual scrap yards offer.

Intellectual Property

The content, design, and data compilations on this Site are owned by Steel Prices UK. You may not scrape, republish, or redistribute our pricing data without written permission. You may link to our pages freely.

Seller Introductions

If you submit a sell request, we pass your contact details and enquiry to up to three licensed scrap metal dealers or buyers near you, who contact you directly. We introduce sellers to dealers and nothing more: we do not buy, sell, collect, transport or handle scrap metal, we do not negotiate on your behalf, and we are not party to any sale you agree. Price, grading, collection and payment are matters between you and the dealer, and any contract is formed between you and them. Dealers pay us a flat fee for an introduction; sellers never pay us anything. Our estimates are indicative only — the dealer’s weigh-in and grading set the final price.

Limitation of Liability

Steel Prices UK shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Site or the information it contains.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
